In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top food and drink apps on the Android platform in Portugal demonstrated varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

McDonald's showed a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 5.6K at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at approximately 8.2K in mid-December. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users remained relatively high, peaking at about 241K during the last week of November.

For Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, weekly downloads started strong at over 6K and experienced a gradual decline, reaching around 2.8K by mid-December before rebounding to 4.6K at the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trend, with numbers peaking at 138K in mid-October and ending the quarter at about 101K.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained steady download numbers, with a notable increase to 5.5K in the week before Christmas. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 306K in mid-December.

TheFork - Restaurant bookings experienced a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 3.3K and reaching over 5.2K by the end of December. Active users also showed a positive trend, peaking at about 141K in mid-November.

Lastly, Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway displayed a steady climb in downloads, peaking at approximately 5.2K in the final week of the year. Active users saw an increase as well, reaching a high of 112K in early December.
